| KK Ultra bits are the direct result of extensive anatomical research of the horse's mouth. It was discovered that the cavity of the horse's mouth where the bit sits is smaller than originally assumed, therefore, the KK Ultra bit is designed with a shortened link. Sprenger also angles the link 45 degrees to ensure that it rests only on the horse's tongue, without squeezing it or aggravating the palate (roof) of the mouth when contact is made through the reins. |
